Million Layer Suji project
The Suji pictured above one of three pieces I made recently out of damascus that consists of over one-million layers. Each time I re-stacked the billets, I added some new steel and that is why it looks like there are three or four hundred random layers, but inbetween each visible layer are thousands of other layers.
Spacers are Ivory and copper with an Ivory pin.
